Hi,

I have a specific problem on some of my Windows 2003 SP2 Standard Edition servers.
If I enable the router service for persistent connection (as BMC recommends) to get to the agent on the machine behind the firewall the router service stops working for no reason at all.
Any ideas ?

Tnx

No idea at all. Huh

First time hearing about it. If the port for the router service are open in the firewall, then I have no clue.

You can try the other Control-M forums on Yahoo groups "control-x", someone there might have had a similar issue. I would like to know the solution if you find one.

In documentation I find that the Server-To-Agent port should be open for bidirectional use on the firewall. We only set the port in 1 direction at present so we gonna try to open it up and see if then the router stays alive
